Cleaning Protocols and Standards

We have installed Reme Halo® whole home in-duct air purifiers in each cottage. Please refer to the Reme Halo web site for more information: https://www.rgf.com/products/air/reme-halo

As of June 8, 2020, our pool is officially open for the 2020 Season, capped at 50% capacity per the Michigan Governor's instruction. The maximum capacity is 100 people. Due to the government guidelines, we can accommodate all of our guests, even if the cottages are full at 50% pool capacity. Chairs and chaise lounges are set in groups of 4-6 and are spaced 6 feet apart. The restrooms at the pool also feature the Reme Halo air purifiers.

For the time-being, we are going to be doing some things differently:

Please respect fellow guests and maintain social distancing; especially by the pool. There is plenty of open space on the property to assure safe distance. Most families will wish to keep their distance.

We are asking all guests to supply pillows and blankets for the time being. We will continue to supply sheets and towels (not including beach towels).

We are very meticulous about our cleaning. We are committed to advancing our standards even further by sanitizing/disinfecting the cottages; including all high-touch areas. We have removed some pieces/decorations from the cottages, reducing the total surface area. Board games and decks of cards have been removed, for example, so please feel free to bring your own. Our overly-thorough cleaning process will require additional time and effort. Therefore, we're asking guests to be patient with us. Please assist us in this effort by keeping your cottage clean during your stay.

Self check-ins have been implemented for zero contact with Guests. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate early arrivals to the property.

The balance of payment due, along with the returned Rental Agreement, is required one-week before your check-in date. We kindly need these details on file before your check-in. You will receive an email covering check-in protocol, current news, and other miscellaneous details, shortly before your arrival.
